Atlanta Cufflinks – Transit Tokens
These Atlanta tokens were issued by the Georgia Power Company in the 1940s for use ontrolleys and streetcars. Despite its name, GPC, formally Georgia Railway & Power Company, ran the streetcars.
The tokens are attached to silver-plated cufflink posts. They measure 16mm. One reads Georgia Power Co / Atlanta; the other Good for One Fare. They both feature a striking cut-out A. They are mounted to silver-plated cufflink posts - where the silver shines through the A cut-out, making a striking impression on the sleeve.
The tokens were circulated so their exact condition varies but our pictures above are consistent with what you will receive.
The cufflinks will be shipped in a cufflink box - appropriate for gift giving.
