Greece Cufflinks – Bull Lepta Coins
Who doesn't want to live in Greece? Give these cufflinks as a reminder of that beautiful honeymoon or summer adventure, or a promise for a future rendezvous!
The bull on this coin honors an old Minoan ritual act of 'bull leaping' - leaping onto the back of a charging bull. Was it a religious ritual? Sport? Sacrificial? Bullfighting? Secrets lost in history.
These cufflinks were made from a 10 Lepta coin from 1976 or 1978 (the two years of production.) Lepta is a unit of currency that means 'small' - during Hellenistic times, leptons were coins of small value.
They measure approx 20mm across - and have been secure to silver-plated cufflink posts.
They will be shipped in a cufflink box - appropriate for gift-giving.

Hand-made in the USA
