Kansas Sales Tax Token Cufflinks
Death and taxes are forever - and these cufflinks are made from Kansas state sales tax tokens form the 1930s.
The tokens were considered coinage by the federal government and created a controversy when they debuted. They were issues because states wanted to collect sales tax but when items were priced at 5-10 cents, how do you collect 1-2%?
They issues these tokens.
The tokens will show some wear since they were used in circulation but they are somewhat shiny given their age. They are mounted to cufflink posts.
They will be shipped in a jewelry box - appropriate for gift-giving.

Hand-made in the USA
A great gift idea for:
Historians, Kansasians
