The Liberty Nickel directly pre-dated the Buffalo nickel, minted from 1883-1913. The front features Lady Liberty wearing a coronet. The back features the Roman numeral V - for five.

These coins have a beautiful worn lock, being around 100 years old.

The nickels have been lightly polished and securely fastened to silver cufflink posts. They will be shipped in a jewelry box, appropriate for gift-giving.
