Oakland Transit Token Cufflinks
These vintage tokens were used in the 1940s in Oakland, California on the Key System transit line which provided mass transit to the cities of Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, and more. It ran from approximately 1903 until 1960.
These tokens are very rare.
The tokens look like brass, with a giant K in the middle. One side reads Good for One Local Fare; the other Key System Oakland - Date, where Date is from the 1940s. The tokens have been lightly polished and secured to gold cufflink posts.
The cufflinks will be shipped in a cufflink box - ideal for gift giving.
