San Diego Ferry Cufflinks – Tokens
Before the Coronado bridge was built in 1969, you had to take the Star Ferry to get to the island - and you paid using these tokens.
The tokens are attached to silver-plated cufflink posts. They measure approx 20mm. Both feature a star cut-out where the silver cufflink posts shines through, highlighting it further. One token reads Good for One Fare; the other Star & Crescent Ferry Co. The tokens themselves are a very dull brass-like color.
The tokens were circulated so their exact condition varies but our pictures above are consistent with what you will receive.
The cufflinks will be shipped in a cufflink box - appropriate for gift giving.
