The distinct S in these tokens can only mean sunny San Diego. There is not much information on these tokens but they were used in the 1950s.
Both cufflinks read San Diego Transit System with an S cut-out in the middle.
The tokens are secured to a silver-plated backing that shines through the slightly worn token - this produces a great effect, as it shows off the S. They measure approx 16mm.
The cufflinks will be shipped in a jewelry box - appropriate for gift-giving.
